On a Wednesday afternoon we are lucky to have a music lesson with Mr Baker who has been working on our rhythm when using instruments. In our composition, different instruments have to play on different beats so you need to make sure you concentrate on counting to make sure you’re in time. See if you can spot our concentrating faces in our pictures!

New Barn – Tuesday
Wow – what a fantastic day we had at New Barn. Even the drizzle we had couldn’t dampen our excitement!
We churned our own butter, milled our own flour from grain and even created our own medicine to heal cuts and grazes.
We learned so much about this fascinating time in history!
Stay and Spell…
Thank you to those who were able to join us today for our ‘Stay and… Spell’ session. We really enjoyed seeing you all.

The Eagle Man
He is affectionately known as the ‘Eagle Man’ in Year 3 but he’s actually called Martin, he’s from the amazing Xtreme Falconry and last Thursday he wowed us all with some amazing birds of prey.
Hopefully, Meadow 3 have been chatting non-stop about the experience and all the amazing eagle facts that they learned on the day. We’re looking forward to reading the amazing fact sheet that they are currently creating!
Home Learning Autumn 1
This is our first Home Learning Leaflet for the year. It gives you an overview of what we’ll be learning up until half term. It also has amazing ideas for extra learning that you can be doing at home. We’re asking for all home learning to be in school for a sharing session on 14th October 2022.
