Home Learning
We have talked about the importance of wild flower meadows for insects and I imagine these butterflies will find some now they have been released by one of the children. How magical to be released by a princess! Also some fantastic photos taken in another Meadow 1 pupil’s garden!
Magical home learning
If you fancy a few moments of calm before the football kicks off then watch this lovely film of photos taken by Hugo! Totally captivating and gorgeous. All the photos were taken in his garden, I wonder if you know the names of any of them?
Looking closely
We enjoyed looking closely at some plants – noticing their leaves, stems, flowers and seeds.
Golden Butterflies
A huge congratulations to these four worthy butterflies that make Meadow 1 a great place to be! So lovely to have celebration assemblies again – I think they are even better outside!
Wild flower spotter
Look at all these lovely wild flowers Ryan spotted on a couple of walks recently!
Happy Face
I love this happy face the children made out of skipping ropes today! Thank you to Mrs Gore for capturing it!
Country Dancing
The children in Meadow 1 have been learning how to do a circle dance – they are pretty good at it now!
Wild flower walk
Lovely to see this young man out and about spotting wild flowers on National Meadows Day this weekend!
National Meadows Day
Today is National Meadows Day. Miles King, who led our trip to collect bulbous buttercups has written a fantastic article featuring the lovely Meadow 1. Please click on the link below to read it! Have a lovely weekend and I’ll see you on Monday (don’t forget to wear uniform for our class photo instead of your usual PE kit)
