On Wednesdays this term, we will be having music lessons with the wonderful Mr Baker! The children absolutely loved their first session this week! This all fits in with our big question this half term – What makes me feel good? Music is such a powerful way to lift our spirits!

How to support learning at home
It was lovely to do our very first virtual parents evening today – I think it worked really well! I look forward to speaking to the rest of you on Thursday. On Friday I will be sending home the new Common Exception Words for the Summer Term and also our new Home Learning Leaflet. I’ve included both of these below just in case you lose the paper copy. They can also be found in the menu part of the blog!
Welcome back!
What a great start to the term we have had! The sunny weather has been very welcome and all of the children have settled back in well. Our new big question for the half term is What makes us feel good? We will be thinking not only about our physical health but also our mental health. Our new virtual library linked to this learning can be found under the virtual library tab in the blog menu. I’ve also included a link below.
Celebration of words
Thank you so much for your wonderful efforts in making the last day of this very long term a wordy one!
I hope you all have a wonderful break and look forward to seeing you all at the start of the Summer Term. We will start our new learning journey with our big question – What makes me feel good? We will be thinking about healthy hearts and healthy minds. I can’t wait!
Hanging out at the pond!
A few more children got to spend time at the pond today.
