Some super writing today in our travel journals! Well done everyone!
Month: March 2021
Thursday 4th March
Good Morning! Today is World Book Day! You should have all been sent a digital book voucher that you can buy a new book with. Here are this year’s titles – if you download the PDF you can click on a cover to get a sneaky peak inside! Instead of science today you have some fun things to do linked to World Book Day.
Today’s catch up will be at the earlier time of 1pm.
I will be reading you a story written by Rob Biddulph who helped us draw a dragon on Monday. The story is about a penguin that gets blown away and afterwards we’ll learn how to draw him so make sure you have some paper and a pen ready!
I also look forward to seeing you for English and phonics this morning.

Art
Tints and Shades of Blue
These works of art are all very different – but can you work out what is the same?
That’s right – they each have different shades of blue in them!
Today we are going to explore tints and shades of blue.
If you have some paints or pastels at home try making your own tints and shades of blue. Start with blue then add increasing amounts of white for tints or black for shades. Talk to someone at home about what you notice as you add in black or white. You could create your own colour chart, picture or just have fun exploring what happens!
Or why not go on a hunt around the house to see how many different blue things you can spot? You might like to gather some objects and create your own piece of 3D art…
