A budding chef!
Lots of people love to cook because it makes them feel good, and the finished product makes others feel good too! This young man has a very tasty recipe for us all to try!
More fantastic home learning!
Meadow 1 certainly know what makes them feel good! Some great things going on at home.
Number bonds
I am sending home a game to help your child secure their knowledge of number bonds of ten. They have also been singing this song which is helpful.
And finally there is a great game on Hit the Button that they could play!
The Colour Monster
In our English sessions this week we looked at a wonderful book called “The Colour Monster” by Anna Llenas. The Colour Monster changes colour depending on how he feels. The book has made us really think about how we feel and describe our emotions whilst expanding our vocabulary.
The return of Food bank Friday
If you can’t remember what to donate then please click on the link below to see the original letter that I sent home in the Autumn Term.
If anyone could volunteer to take what we have collected down to Dorchester Food bank once a month then please let me know on the gate. I would be most grateful as my wrist is not as strong as it used to be!!
Golden Butterfly
Congratulations to this young man who is a fantastic role model for Meadow 1!
Art makes you feel good too…
Thank you to Annabel for sending in this photo of her artwork she did at home. What a clever idea to paint pasta and make a beautiful landscape.
Time spent amongst trees is never wasted!
Get out into nature like this young lady and her brother, and feel the difference it makes!
Sporty young man!
This young man loves playing sport – it certainly seems to put a smile on his face! Doing exercise is another really good way of making us feel good!
